LeakLite is a low cost combustible cooking gas leak sensor made to improve household safety awareness in Indian homes and built with the purpose to address the widespread lack of awareness regarding gas leak risks and the limited accessibility of existing gas detection devices due to cost and complexity.

Issue
What's Wrong?
40% of respondents had already experienced or smelled a gas leak at home, highlighting that gas leakage is a common and serious household safety problem.
Awareness
How Much Did People Learn?
Before the demonstration, most participants had low awareness of gas leak risks and detectors (70% unaware of detectors), but after the demo, 100% of respondents reported feeling aware about gas safety, showing a major improvement in awareness.
Performance
How Good was LeakLite?
Over 97% of respondents rated LeakLite as clear, quick to respond, and easy to use, demonstrating strong performance and user trust.
